I never knew about Josephine Baker. I am so glad I know of her now. The colors of this book were striking and beautiful. Learning about a strong women in a time when strong women (especially women of color) were looked down on its so great to hear of women like Josephine who fought for civil rights. This is a great book for girls to learn about a beautiful and fascinating woman form history.
