I’m always happy to read a book by Neil Gaiman - he’s up there as one of my favourites. So of course, I decided to give Good Omens a shot. The tone was definitely different from books written on his own - I guess Pratchett likes to embrace the ridiculous? The humour was odd at times. I’ll be honest, I struggled to become immersed in the story because the humour kept pulling me out. It grated on my nerves. Thankfully, overall the book had a good plot with solid characters, but I think this is officially my least favourite of Gaiman’s books. 3.5/5
