This books is an intriguing and a quirky take on themes of manipulation, greed and corruption. Seeing how history is re-written and good people are lead astray. 

I think I would have enjoyed this more if I had a better Knowledge of the historical context of characters that are embodied. That is entirely on myself of course as oppose to the actual book!

Sadly with no clear protagonist to experience the story through  which made it a bitter harder to connect to the emotional struggles as much as I would have hoped for - perhaps this book is a bit beyond me and whilst don’t think I’d likely read again, am glad I finally read it!
