I've read many different genres, and YA is one of them. With the little amount of YA books I've read however, this one is of more maturity, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Jay managed to piece a wonderful world of curiosity, war, betrayal, hatred, famine, happiness, turmoil, darkness, bravery, love and pride. It also made me realise that, no matter how much shit is thrown at you in life, it will always turn out great in the end. You just have to muster through the duration of the badness first :)
