This offered some insight into my introverted nature, but the anecdotes about Wall Street were so boring. Also, the parts about introverts forcing themselves to give speeches by pretending to be extroverted were depressing. All of the success stories about introverts adapting to an extroverted environment just made me feel resentful. I'm not going to pretend to be extroverted for anyone, nor will I force myself to do things I don't want to do. And the anecdotes about marriage and raising introverted children are unhelpful to me, because as I stated in another review, I don't ever want to get married or raise children. While I realize that socializing is essential, I will always choose solitude when I can.
