This one was a wild ride. I love the weaving through of Silence’s story (and I genuinely thought I was going to read something very different next, but I might just have to go straight to the next book), and I really enjoyed Hero & Griffin. But let’s just be 1000% clear, Thomas sucks and does not deserve Lavinia or Hero’s forgiveness. Also did his wife just straight up lie about having an affair with Griffin? I mean, she did, but… why? Also the glimpses we got into the bad guy’s gin lair were very odd, I’m wondering if that is going to turn in to a bigger storyline. Also, still trying to figure out who the Ghost of St Giles is. I think we’re supposed to believe it’s Winter, but weren’t they both at the fire in the last book? Also, seriously, when would he have the time? Like the man is already run ragged by the normal stuff he’s doing.

And yeah, I’m immediately diving into the next one because I NEED TO KNOW what happens with Silence and Mickey and Mary Darling.
