Love Me Like You Do
by Sasha Clinton
♬♬ Love me like you do, love love love me like you do....♬♬ sorry, I have been singing this song every time I see this book title.
Ok, so this book is really a twofer, as we get two storylines for the price of one.
We get Bella and Jamie's story (Bella is besties with Kat and Ashley from the first two books) but we also get Grant (Jamie's dad) and his story.
The dual stories did confuzzle me a little bit at first, but I soon got into the vibe of each story so this didn't last long.
This book was a lot more emotional than the previous ones. I can't tell you how many times I was reading through tears, especially with Bella. Although I loved that Bella is a bigger girl, her flip flopping between being fine with it and her not understanding why Jamie wants her irritated me. I wanted her to be proud of who she was all the time not some of the time.
And Jamie - gah make up your mind sir, no wonder the poor girl is confused about what you want from her!
But these things could just be me.
Love Me Like You Do is a different take on the Sex In The City, online dating, single in the city story. I needed to know what happened with Bella and Jamie, and with Grant.
I look forward to what Ms Clinton brings us next.
