I absolutely adore this series & recommend it to everyone.
It does have some violence & langue, but it is a wonderful story none the less.
I will admit it takes a bit to get used to the way the author jumps back & forth between memories & current timeline, but after a time or two, it was easier to realize what had happened. 
Mr Lynch's writing style is fantastic and just draws me in. He doesn't explain things too much, but gives enough details of the surrounding & past to let the reader imagine for themselves. 
The characters are fun & the friendships realistic, even if it is set in another universe. 
I love the way that the thieves get themselves into & out of trouble.
