I'll admit, going into this book I really had no idea what I was signing up for. I read the description but I apparently didn't understand it enough. This book surprising my in the most wonderful ways!

A story about how Yale's 8 most prestigious secret societies are actually practicing real magic??? With a ninth house set in place to make sure they stay in line??? Amazing. This book literally has everything, secret societies, magic, ghosts, demons, a murder mystery, history, all held together by a broken but strong female lead with a mysterious past??? sign me up!!!
