WOW. This book was fantastic— it was suspenseful, terrifying, and I was absolutely HOOKED.

Some portions of the book were predictable. Of course Lowen and Jeremy were going to fall in love, but I still have QUESTIONS! Did Verity keep the letter a secret for the rest of her life or did she eventually discuss it with Jeremy? Is she able to keep the secret of killing an innocent woman with her husband for the sake of their daughter?

Verity really sent chills up mine spine multiple times throughout, but especially so when Crew mentioned he spoke to his mother — present tense. But we saw this coming right?! After all, this house is full of Chronics. The next tragedy is already long overdue.
