Time for Sensibility by M. Sinclair
3.0

Time for Sensibility is a fast paced reverse harem romance standalone in the Women of Time Collection by author M. Sinclair. I am new to the Women of Time Collection, but I think all of the books are standalones that can be read individually. I haven't read any of the other books so I am not sure if there is character crossover or whatnot, but I wasn't lost while reading. Time For Sensibility is set in a "wonderland like" setting, which was cool, but I was hoping for it to be a bit more like Alice in Wonderland. It was a zany crazy ride with some seriously over the top characters that I did enjoy. There were things about this book that I really liked and things that I didn't love. Overall it was a good read for me, and I am interested in checking out more books from author M. Sinclair.

In Time for Sensibility we meet our main character Davina. Davina doesn't remember much from her childhood. Her memories are are from living with her rotten uncle, but it doesn't matter so much because the real story starts when she is kidnapped by 4 crazy guys! Ranger, Don, Lorenzo and Preston all seem to know more about Davina than Davina herself. So here is what I liked about the story. I liked the characters a lot. All the guys are completely nuts, but in a good way. It works for them. I enjoyed the fast pace of the story. it helped my reading just fly along.

But there were also some things that I didn't love so much. I don't love the cover of the book, and the book also felt too short. I liked the fast pace of the story, but I do wish there was more time for everything to develop. I wanted the romance to marinate more between everyone. I didn't want things to feel quite so rushed. I wanted to get to know the characters a little better, get some more details on the world, all of that. This felt more like a longer novella than a full length novel.

All in all this was a fun story and a crazy ride. I enjoyed it, but it was a little too short for me to completely fall in love with the story or the characters. It was a fun read and if you are looking for something quick that you can read in just over an hour (or two) then Time for Sensibility might be a good one for you to pick up and check out.
