CW: mentions of gun violence, death of a sibling/parent

WOW. I had been nervous to start this one for the past few months because it wasn't written in verse like Acevedo's other books and I was worried I wouldn't like it as much. I am happy to report I was very wrong! I could hardly put this book down, staying up late reading until I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer. Phenomenal book, but one warning - do NOT read this without eating first because it will make you so hungry!
