3.0

This is better written for sure than last few volumes but still a messy volume.

Right off the bat, after the first issue, we're thrown into the "New Krypton" storyline. It's actually pretty decent crossover, and the ones talking about Supergirl are half way decent. Especially when her father is murdered since it leads to a lot of internal problems even after the event. However, it's jumpy, and if haven't read that storyline, you'll be like "What the fuck?" After getting past that it's Superwoman storyline. This is about a new character who is going around helping Supergirl, or is she really?

Good: The superwoman storyline did its job. It's easy twist but it works well enough and some of the fights are brutal and great. A lot of deaths here, and they don't hold back, and the ending sets up some cool things to come.

Bad: The crossover is really out of place, not fully told, and confusing. Also, the storylines, while solid, aren't going to blow your mind.

Overall a better gathering of stories than the last few volumes but overall this could still be a better collection. A 2.5-3 out of 5.
