- Lara's relationship with Chase was genuinely cute
» disliked «
- constant mentioning of Outer Banks/OBX (the location) draws me out of the story, especially with the show that came out a while ago
- MC is a reader, and this books goes into
- first person POV
- a lot of contemporary songs, lyrics, book, and other things are mentioned. honestly it drags me out of the story so much and makes me roll my eyes
- a HUGE portion of this book is just stuck in Lara's head and what she thinks. this is character driven in the worst way. Lara's narration and thoughts are completely useless and boring.
- i was ready for a miscommunication plotline ANDDDDD i got it :/
