This is Book 2 of The Dark Assassins Duet, and it focuses on Fiona (the FMC and Maisie's sister) and Sawyer (the MMC and Wilder's brother). (Maisie and Wilder were the main characters in Book 1.) Sawyer is a manipulative jerk in this book, and it was absolutely delicious. As for Fiona, I found her frustrating at times, but she eventually grew on me. I don’t want to give too much away, and while this is listed as a slow burn, I devoured it in a day. It’s a great mix of plot, spice, and character development. I would definitely recommend it!
