I read this book in high school, for my English class. We got to pick books from a big list, and I wanted to read something really classic. I ended up enjoying this book much more than I expected!

I picked this book because it is a story which is adapted, modernly, in so many ways. The movie with Tom Hanks is an excellent example of it. In those years, I liked to read police suspence thrillers a lot, so I liked the storyline.

The book was way more catching than expected, I remember I finished this whole book in one Saturday. So, if you want to read an English classic, I recommend this one over a Jane Austen.
