Wow! Chambers’s ability to world build and connect the reader (or listener in this case) to characters is simply astounding. The characters in this particular book are a part of the first book in this series, but this could be read on its own. Alternating between 2 storylines (but the reader sees how they are actually intertwined/related) until the climax of the book was just beautifully written and I was sad to get to the last chapter. I am eager to continue reading this series.
