I really enjoyed this book but the fact they became stepsisters at the end brought my rating down significantly because like… why?

Everything else about this book was great! I loved Gwen and Beth so much and watching their relationship blossom from friendship into something more was beautiful. 

I will be reading the sequel because James already sounds great from the little snippet in the end.
