beautifully written with nice sayings and a wonderful view in life as well as dying.

i loved the contrast of how the grandfather behaved as a grandfather compared to how he behaved as a father, i think that’s something extremely realistic and a honest view on being a parent versus a grandparent, for different unimportant reasons.

i really enjoyed noah and how he was portrayed.

and overall it was a beautiful tragic but realistic view into dementia.
my favorite quote is defiantly the one about how sad it is to miss a person that still physically there. (i can’t actually quote the direct thing since i read the book in a different language but that’s more or less the message of the quote even if it’s not the direct quote from the english translated book)

this book shared a lot for its few pages but it’s good that it’s just a novella instead of a full novel since that would have made the story too much and not as impactful an well done.

defiantly a wonderful read and i can understand why so many people said they cried through the book and after finishing it.
