The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse
by Charlie Mackesy
This book tugged at my heartstrings, as they say. Someone on IG recommended it and if you have ever been a human with feelings of uncertainty, self-consciousness/doubt, loneliness, friendship, etc. then this is a must read graphic book. The story of a boy who makes friends with a cake-loving mole who then saves a fox before they all meet a horse is relatable feelings wise (less so talking to animals wise) and you can feel the emotions in the pen strokes of the drawings. So many quotable pieces of advice and reassurance. This is one I'd maybe want to own at some point.
