This was a cute, cheesy, teen romance with sweet holiday vibes. It was perfect for the mood I was in when reading. The different dates were all so fun and cute, even the cringy ones. I don't have as large a family as Sophie, so I did feel like her extended family members were totally invasive at some points but it was clear that Sophie had grown distant from them and they were probably just trying to welcome her back with open arms. I felt that the storyline with her older sister's pregnancy was unnecessary and didn't really add anything necessary. There could have been drama integrated in another way in my opinion. This was still super enjoyable and even though there wasn't a ton of character development, I really liked the main love interest.
