I never expected a book about moss to make me tear up, and yet here we are!

I’ve heard such incredible things about this author’s work, but I don’t read a lot (or hardly any) non-fiction so I wasn’t sure if I would ever pick up one of her books. But I’m so so glad I finally decided to give it a try! This was unbelievably beautiful. You can feel the love she has for her craft pouring out of her with every word, it was a joy to experience. The language was accessible enough that, even though I know nothing about moss or biology in general, I didn’t find myself confused or lost in what she was saying. This was delightful and I can’t wait to read other things from this author. I highly recommend the audiobook for this one!
