I can see the importance of this story and acknowledge the themes it explores while at the same time knowing this was not a book for me. The writing style was ok, but the format of the story did not work for me. Also, not much happened. It felt like more of a long winded meditation on sex and gender told through the characters with a sprinkle of a story.
