I think that this book tells a powerful story and this is a warning but the writing style wasn't it; When Atwood writes flashback scenes if there is dialogue she won't put quotation marks around the dialogue. It's a really annoying thing thinking this is a character's internal thought when it's actually just then talking to another character in the past. It just bugs me;
