Look, I love a good baked sweet treat as much as the next, but there is nothing sexy about bringing the baking and sweet treat talk into the bedroom. At first I could look past it, but by the end of Mixed Signals I was cringing every time baking came up because more often than not one of the characters would act like mentioning a thumbprint cookie was erotic. Just no. Please. Keep the baking in the kitchen. I hate to even have to write this in a review but here we are unfortunately.
Other than that it was a sweet small town love story about learning to trust in love after bad dates/relationships. But unfortunately the sexy food references were way too much for me.
