I loved this book. It was slow-paced but I lived for the planning and strategising (and the suitors). I can't wait for the next book to arrive at my doorstep and see how this series comes to a conclusion.

I also loved how so many relevant worldly problems were also present in this book: refugees, water scarcity among others.

The battle at the end was such a great way to end the second book in a series so I don't think second book syndrome applies to this series at the point.
