Morning Glory Milking Farm by C.M. Nascosta
4.0

If a job’s worth doing, it’s worth doing well...

Characters:
Violet is too relatable especially her inner monologues about wanting to get a job post-grad. Her desire for something different and new in her life also resonated with me. She didn't feel like a archetype but a real character on her own.

Rourke was charming and bossy. His flaw is canonically being a Capricorn. (Which isn't truly a flaw I've just been obsessed then scorned by them too many times.) I like that he was very upfront with his like for her and was good at communicating.

Plot:
The set up was really real as someone graduating with loans and no apparent job prospects. There was more world building sprinkled throughout the story than I thought there was going to be. This is a series of different beings and scenarios which I'm excited to get into. I'm also glad this wasn't just pure smut and had a cute story with fun characters.

Secret Sauce:
The chemistry between Violet and Rourke is good especially when they finally start bantering and flirting with each other. This book is surprisingly fun, witty and light-hearted. It doesn't take itself too seriously while being also interesting and entertaining.

Rating: I give this book a 4/5
