What can I say, Mariana Zapata has done it again, another fantastic slow burn. I also love the grumpy sunshine added into the mix because it works perfectly with her stories. I love Aurora’s journey to feel closer to her mother by coming back home. The emotions I went through from giggling when she started humming big girls don’t cry to full out crying in parts I do not want to spoil. 

 

The love that grows between these two is so wholesome and made me feel like I was falling in love. Ora has always been in the background and gone with the flow and for her to finally put herself first was fantastic. I gave this book 4.75 ⭐️ and 2 🌶️ although the spice in minimal in a slow burn it is always spot on. If you have never picked up a Mariana Zapata book I highly recommend it and you can start here or all the other fantastic books she has written.
