Listen for the Lie by Amy Tintera

Wow this book lives up to the hype. I don't even know if I can put my finger on what called to me, but I was almost instantly enthralled. I think it was the attitude and inner voice of Lucy that just felt so real and also sassy and interesting. I also loved loved the way the podcast was integrated in the story (it was especially well done and honestly a bit creepy on the audiobook with the different actor voices and the intro/outro music). I don't want to put any spoilers at all but it was a wild ride with the most vivacious and almost over the top characters and it had my heart racing many times. There is a lot of nuance here (no one is a good person vs bad person) and especially some interesting thoughts on biases.
