Akenkan means “reading” in the Ghanaian language Twi. This challenge has been created in a bid to encourage reading more diversely, specifically more authors of African descent. This challenge is hosted by the Akenkan Bookstore & Library owned by me, Abena a.k.a bookworminchrist.
