This is a working list of retellings of history, folklore, mythology, classic lit, or any popular narrative that has been misogynistic or entirely devoid of the perspectives of women & femmes, BIPOC people, queer people, disabled people, or anyone else who has been strategically undervalued by colonial capitalist society.

These reads should focus on the, lore, history and/or experience of people who have been marginalized by colonial capitalist belief systems. I urge you to prioritize OwnVoices authors.
