There are four key principles of the book club:
1. Short Books, 250 pages maximum, 100 pages ideal. People should be able to read the books easily in a month alongside their work or any other commitments they have.
2. Political, this doesn't mean manifestos. The first book, 'Who Killed My Father' by Édouard Louis dealt with his upbringing and the relationship he has with his father and consequently the relationship his father has, implicitly, with the politics of France.
3. At least one book about Wales a year. All politics is local, this means understanding the world in which we live and Wales is a huge part of that.
4. All Welcome, this is a non-party political book club.
Proudly feminist, anti-racist and LGBTQ+ inclusive. TERFs and SWERFs not welcome.
