Overview
It's not secret that the Walt Disney Animation Studio draws inspiration from fairy tales, poetry, and other stories from around the world. This challenge will showcase the works the inspired some of the 60 films in the WDAS lineup, starting with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 1937 and going up to last year's release of Encanto. Some of the films (or segments within them) were inspired by poetry, magazine stories, and music arrangements that cannot be easily documented on TheStoryGraph, so those will be left out.
