This challenge aims to explore India through a mixture of fiction and non-fiction. Think of it as a bookish gap year. We get to explore the literature, culture, history and people of India without having to travel anywhere! There are 10 prompts to help us with our challenge (five fiction and five non-fiction) and two free choices. This means reading one book a month if you decide to complete the challenge over the course of a year. The prompts are purposely broad so that the challenge can be tailored to your reading preferences. Wherever possible it is encouraged to choose books written by Indian and own voice authors. Hopefully this challenge will mean we read more diversely and get to learn more about a fascinating country. Happy travels!
