Each Festival / Monthly Theme within A Year in the Valley, will receive it's own Challenge (due to how the challenge is setup this is the easiest way to setup on Storygraph). Rules:
- Prompts can be completed in any order.
- Only 1 book per prompt may count towards rewards.
- Challenge runs from May 1st to May 31st.
- If you participated in the April Readathon and earned a Ladder or Warp Totem, you can use them during this challenge:
- Ladder - Substitute Any Prompt with an Unrelated Book (up to 2x)
- Warp Totem - Count a Book You’ve Already Read (in 2025) in Place of Reading a New Book for a Prompt (up to 2x)
- DNF and books started before the month are allowed as long as 50% is read during the month. Books must be at least 100 pages!
- FAQ - How many books do I need to read to receive X reward? If you read a total of 3 books, you will earn just the invite (could earn the bar too). If you read a total of 6 books, you will earn the invite and bouquet (could earn the bar too). If you read a total of 9 books, you will earn the invite, bouquet and rarecrow (could earn the bar too).
Rewards:
- First Reward: Flower Dance Invitation - Complete a total of 3 prompts from the list (romanceable and non-romanceable characters).
- Second Reward: Spring Bouquet - Complete a total of 6 prompts, with at least 1 prompt from a romanceable character and 1 prompt from a non-romanceable character.
- Third Reward: Spring Rarecrow - Comple a total of 9 prompts, with at least 2 prompts from romanceable characters and 2 prompts from non-romanceable characters.
- Bonus Reward: Gold Bar - Complete the Discord challenge "Build Your Own Flower Dance Outfit" to receive. This will allow you to "skip a prompt" in June.
