Pay yourself to read and save money to spend on more books! For every 200 pages read or 2 hours of audiobook listened to (or a combination thereof), save £1/$1/€1 and see how much you can put aside by the end of 2025.

Suggested savings milestones £/$/€:- 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 400, 500. I saved just under £500 in 2024, so it is possible!

Rules/Guidance:-

1) When you hit a milestone, add the book you were reading to remind you of your journey and inspire others.

2) A combination of physical reading and listening to audiobooks counts just as well. For example, if you've listened to 4 hours of audiobook and read 600 pages, you'll still have saved £5. 

3) DNFs and rereads count towards your total. Just save for the amount of pages you actually read.

4) Ebooks count too! Use the 'official' page count from the Storygraph entry for your edition (having checked it matches to detail shown on the purchase platform), rather than the page count shown on your ereader.

5) Page counts should be taken from the Storygraph entry for the correct edition of the book you're reading.

6) Counting other reading sources i.e. fanfic, magazine articles etc. is optional as these can be difficult to quantify.
