Overview
The filmmaker (and self-proclaimed "struggling writer") Mason Engel read a book each day by an author local to that state. After finishing the book, Mason had the privilege of interviewing the author in their favorite local bookstore. In Books Across America, you'll travel from the Library of Congress in D.C., to The Outsiders Museum in Tulsa, to the bookcase in Philly where Grip—the real-life, long-dead raven that inspired Edgar Allan Poe's "The Raven,"—is forever enshrined behind glass. It's the bookish road trip you never knew you wanted....caught on camera.
