Overview
The most comprehensive list I could create of the top 10 Banned books from 2001-2023 in (mostly) reverse chronological order. Still a work in progress as more books are being banned. There's no time limit, so feel free to take as long as you need! The Bible is optional due to length. The Captain Underpants Series and the Skippy John Jones series (other than the first books or books listed on ALA Website) are optional as I don't expect y'all to read through a bunch of kids books (totally can though if you want, I plan to).
All reasons listed are from the most recent time the book was banned. All information was found on the American Library Association Website. Links: https://www.ala.org/bbooks/frequentlychallengedbooks/top10/archive and https://www.ala.org/bbooks/frequentlychallengedbooks/top10.
Please reach out if you see any errors or anything missing! Happy reading!
