Overview

For every letter of the alphabet, read a book featuring a canonically mspec character or a nonfiction book centering mspec people/mspec concerns. You can go by author name or by book title.

Mspec (short for "multi-attraction spectrum") is an umbrella term for anyone attracted to more than one gender. This includes biromantic, panromantic, polyromantic, omniromantic, bisexual, pansexual, polysexual, omnisexual, and a host of other labels. (Polyromantic and polysexual labels should not be confused with polyamorous/non-monogamous.)

Share your progress on social media with the hashtags #MRAC (I'm assuming nothing else is on that hashtag lol) and #mspec!

Some notes/guidelines:
- "Canonically mspec" means that an mspec identity term is used (on the page, in the author's blurb, or some other official source) or else the character is clearly stated/shown to experience attraction to more than one gender. Headcanons are great, but they don't count for this challenge.
- Disregard articles at the start of book titles. E.g. "The Santa Pageant" would count for S, not T and "A Bisexuality Reader" would count for B not A.
- Fanfictions don't count.
- I have added many of the books in the prompts from information available online in book review websites. If any of them are inaccurate/problematic and you feel they are not appropriate for this challenge, please DM me somewhere and let me know!
- Some books may be lacking the LGBTQIA+ tag, likely due to society-wide mspec erasure of relationships that "appear straight". If you know for certain that mspec-ness is canonically in the book, I have found that Storygraph is nicely responsive to requests that they add the LGBTQIA+ tag in a specific book.
