Murder Mystery

32 participants (157 books)

Overview

For this challenge, you're solving a murder mystery with the books you choose to read. You will be determining the "who," "what," "where," "when," "why," and "how" of the murder.

Who - who committed the murder.
What - what the victim was doing during or prior to the murder.
Where - where the murder took place.
When - when the murder took place.
Why - the murderer's motive or reason why they committed the murder.
How - how the act of murder was completed.

Books should contain a word or words in the title that can answer each question (even if there are other words in the title that will be ignored). Some books can potentially work for more than one prompt, but the goal is to have separate book titles answer each of the questions. For example, "The Lost Girls of Willowbrook" could be used for the "who" and "where" prompts; "Saving Noah" could be used for the "who," "what," and even the "why" prompts; "The Midnight Library" could be used for the "when" and "where" prompts. You will need to pick a different book for each prompt. It's okay if the answers to the questions are silly.

All reading counts - whether physical book, eBook, audiobook, fiction, non-fiction, graphic novel, novella, etc.
