Overview
In a bookstagram post in January 2021, I wrote the following ad hoc poem as an ode to Wallace Stegner, to show my adoration and appreciation for his literature:
"Wallace Stegner, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways. I love thee to the tune of Dostoevsky, Shakespeare, and Dickens, I love thee willingly, as your edifying prose thickens. I love thee sweetly, as your pages turn, for the lessons learned, in my soul eternally burn. How do I love thee? Brightly I proclaim, for the remainder of my days."
So it goes without saying that it behooves me to read as many of his works as possible. Of course, this will not be a challenge by definition, instead, it will be a dream and pleasure to proceed. If you love Stegner's work, you likely understand this.
