Overview

I am desperate - desperate I say! - for books with no romance. No sex scenes. No stopping to stare at the way that girl's skirt wisps about her thighs or that guy's abs drip with machismo. I'm aromantic/asexual and I don't super care about books about coming out or discovering yourself - they're important but I went on that journey a decade ago! Now I just want to read about people fighting dragons and not making out with others in their free time. I hope to increase the number of books necessary as I find more qualifiers.

No POV character can be in or want to be in a romantic or sexual relationship. No romantic or sexual relationship can have a significant impact on the plot. They're just doing their thing. If anyone around them is canoodling it's far FAR in the background. (Implied/shipping potential is fine - but ONLY implied. A platonic reading must be possible.) Fiction only - Nonfiction is, quite literally, its own genre. Also, try to avoid kids books. They're kind of a given, and also I'm 30 and want to read about adults.
