So scary I had to stop reading it at night--one scene reminded me of the Haunting of Hill House.

So relatable on many levels--loss, changing friendship, and especially: how do you know who you are? There is so much pressure to conform to certain standards and ideals for appearance and behavior--how do you learn them, choose or or even withstand them? That feeling of being watched, as a socially awkward person, self-conscious--but here also by ghosts: clever idea.

Excellent depiction of loss, and how that shakes everything up, makes you question the relationship you had and who you were together. The conversations you wish you'd had. Her relationship with her uncle, even though he's already technically gone at the start of the book, was very strong and touching.

Such a great book. A real page-turner. I absolutely flew threw it.

This book is both a ghost story and a story about gender identity. Great character development and overall message. There was even a tear-jerker moment for me at toward the end.

I didn't LOVE it, but it's great.

Just a great book about a kid figuring themselves out with some fun ghost elements. Definitely the kind of book that would be a great gift to a kid in your life.

This was a really great story about growing up and figuring out who you are. I liked that it had a theme of ghosts and spookiness. Bug turns 12 years old in the story, so this would be great for middle school kids and on up!
