Beautiful book about a trans child and their coming out.
I would highly recommend this to be offered in school libraries across the country.
The first half of the book was a bit dark and felt off, that’s the only reason for a 4 star rather than a 5 star review.

Rating YA and middle school books is always challenging for me as an adult reader. I read this book as apart of a genre challenge and thought it was a beautiful story. A great introduction to themes of gender and grief for middle school ages kids.
Very, very sweet story. A little spooky.
Would be a FUN read aloud in a truly open minded classroom community.
