Re read but 1st time audible. Forever a comfort read

2nd read: still so good. Maybe a little too much sex scene for me but the books is still perfect.

So glad to finally get some closure for Ilya and Shane. I understand why their first book ended the way it did but being immersed in their lives again was wonderful if a little painful at times and heartwarming by at others. Happy to have read this next (final?) chapter in their lives. They deserve all the openess and happiness they can have.

4.5
LOVED getting more of Shane and Ilya’s story these men feel like real players to me now
Also the Ottawa redemption arc we all deserved

This is the continuation of “Heated Rivalry”

This takes place after Ilya and Shane have finally decided to be together, this book tells their struggles with one another as well as themselves, how they overcome certain conflicts that could make their relationship astray, but similar to the first book, this was enjoyable read. Between all the “game changers” books, since this is a stand alone series book, except this specific book since it’s a continuation, but Ilya and Shane relationship was the one I was most invested in, I haven’t read any of the other Game changer books and I probably won’t cause the troupes aren’t to my liking except these two boys.

I loved this book, it was light and fun, Ilya never disappoints, always being so fucking funny with his sly snarky remarks and it doesn’t help I imagine it with a Russian accent, this book is Fluff and steam, again it’s a happy ending. Probably one of the best happiest ending.
