✨this book hurt in the best way possible.✨

this was filled with equally light-hearted, tender moments and hard-hitting, painful ones. but that being said, this was such a feel good book, god i had the best time reading it! to think, i didn’t quite believe i could love Shane and Ilya more than i already did, but wow

In my opinion, the sequel was so much better than the prequel. It was so good! I'm very sad that I have already finished it. This book gave me comfort.

This book effectively concludes the story of Shane and Ilya, highlighting the strength of their relationship as they choose to support each other despite facing various challenges and external pressures.

The narrative is emotionally impactful, with several moments that evoke strong feelings, demonstrating the author’s ability to create a profound reading experience. I was deeply moved by Shane & Ilya’s love and care for each other; I cried quite a bit throughout the story. The character development of both MMCs is compelling, showcasing their individual growth and the dynamics of their relationship.

The book serves as a fitting conclusion to the characters introduced throughout the Game Changers Series. Celebrating the journeys of each couple featured throughout the series was bittersweet. I loved the series overall - but Shane & Ilya’s story and journey is woven through each of the books so seeing it all on the page in the last book provided new POVs on everything that has happened since their first book, Heated Rivalry. And though the epilogue wrapped up the main storylines, it also left me wanting to know even more about the next steps of those relationships and other side characters.

Overall I really enjoyed this! I know everyone loves Ilya but like... He's such a gem, I loved him too! I really enjoyed the story of mental health, the push and pull where, no matter how hard it got, Shane and Ilya did always try and did always come back to each other.

My only complaint is that I actually, for one of the first times in a book, felt like maybe there was a bit too much sex 😂 never thought I'd complain about that, but compared to the story, well, I ended up skimming the sex scenes so I could hurry up and get back to the story. (the pro side of this minor complaint is that it meant that the story was so good 😅). Solidly enjoyed this book!
