Shane and Ilya are EVERYTHING. I was a little sceptical at the end of Heated Rivalry about how that story ended, but this was honestly everything I wanted. Why 4.5 stars and not 5? I honestly can't tell you. That's just what the vibes were giving.

Not only did this feel unnecessary, it was the weakest of them all. Shane loses any goodwill he built up in their first book and Ilya’s depressing only now appearing prominently is a bit odd to me. Lots of sex but the rest of the plot feels like there’s huge time jumps between them somehow even when they’re close together. I just didn’t enjoy this.
