To begin with, I was just happy to read a little bit more about Ilya and Shane. Sometimes, the book felt like it was going around circles constantly. Sometimes, the characters became exasperating, but it really made sense the way they were behaving that way. Nonetheless, it was really sweet to read them overcome their challenges not only in their relationship but also in their whole surroundings and the expectations put on them.

I adored this whole series. I devoured the first book and loved it so much that I read the entire series in less than a week. (ADHD hyper focus mode)
First of all, if you’re not into super spicy intimacy, these books are not for you… move on.
The mental health representation in each of these books was spot on, not to mention repping social anxieties surrounding sexuality and societal expectations — these issues were so well portrayed. Each book was so well written I breezed through all six of them this week. Absolutely adored these stories and I’m going to miss the characters terribly — may have to reread. Absolutely loved.

This is a second book to Sean & Ilya’s story. Full of hockey and MM spice. 🌶️🌶️🌶️ The biggest surprise with this read was the honest and thoughtful approach to mental health. Being honest with yourself and working on the things needed to be honest with your partner. ❤️ Interconnected characters from across all 6 books makes for a fulfilling read with massive world building.

I love this book more, every time I read it. There are new little nuances I notice each time that make me adore it even more.
My Ilya highlights in this book are him giving Hayden so much shit, him being the cutest dog dad ever and him being a total mush ball for Shane.
My Shane highlights in this book are him standing up to Crowell like a badass, trying his hardest to support a cagey Ilya with his depression and every fussy little moment he has.
I would read literally a hundred books about Shane and Ilya
