Steve Cavanagh’s "Fifty Fifty" is a total rollercoaster ride that'll keep you flipping pages like crazy. The writing flows easily and the plot twists come at you fast and furious, making it perfect for when you just want to sink into your couch and escape for a bit.

The only downside? After a while, you start expecting the unexpected, which kinda takes the punch out of all those "gotcha" moments. Still, it's a solid three-star read that does exactly what it promises - entertains you without making your brain work too hard. Worth picking up when you need a quick thriller fix!

Just finished Fifty Fifty by Steve Cavanagh and 🤩 —another great one from him! I’m officially hooked and starting the Eddie Flynn series 📚 from the beginning now. What I love is that you don’t have to read them in order—each one stands strong on its own without leaving you feeling lost.

This storyline? Twisted in the best way. The amount of effort the killer 🔪 put in was wild—like, truly disturbing 😳 to think people like that could be out there living totally normal lives. Chilling and brilliant. And that twist?!? 😱

Huge thanks ☺️ to @atriabooks for the advanced copy of this new edition! Steve Cavanagh is quickly climbing 📈my list of favorite authors, and I’m so excited to keep going with his books.

Woww i enjoyed every second of it ❤️❤️ loved the main character & definitely gonna read the whole series

3.5

From the very first line, this book had my adrenaline pumping. It moves fast—like really fast—and I couldn’t put it down. The legal case at the center was gripping, and since this is the book that really introduces Flynn and Brooks' law firm, I finally felt like I had a solid grasp on how everything began.

Eddie, in particular, stood out to me. There’s something so humble about him—he’s honest, endearing, and just a genuinely likable guy. I found myself rooting for him right away. Kate is still a newer character, so she’s clearly in development mode, but I’m excited to see where her arc goes. And then there’s Bloch—such a mystery. I need the author to dive deeper into her background in the next book.

This series is one I could see myself reading for a long time. The pace, the cases, the characters—they’ve all got me hooked. If you’re into legal dramas with heart and edge, this one’s a must-read. I already feel connected to these characters, and I can’t wait to see how they grow.

Fifty Fifty" by Steve Cavanagh is a gripping courtroom thriller that cements him as one of my auto-buy authors for suspenseful, twist-filled novels. From the opening 911 calls, the tension is relentless, with multiple POVs—especially the chilling 'SHE' chapters that reveal the killer's perspective—adding depth and intrigue. A spellbinding tale of murder, deception, and betrayal that keeps readers guessing until the very end.
