Rekindled Prophecy is divine. From the very start you get wrapped up in the story. Greylyn is a great heroine, and Kael is both strong and mysterious. Spanning centuries, their love-hate relationship grows stronger with time. I have to admit I'm dying for book two to find out what happens next and more about Greylyn's mysterious past. You do not want to pass by this book - grab a copy and dive in for some action, romance, and adventure!

A guardian angel and a dark guardian with unexplained chemistry that they try to fight, or rather that the guardian angel, Greylyn, tries to fight? This was definitely my kinda book. I really enjoyed it although it left a lot of things unanswered like, what’s with the necklace? What is the history between Greylyn and Kael? Which I suspect predates them becoming their current selves. What does the prophecy entail? And what’s the deal with Jasper and Kael? So many questions which I hope get answered in the sequel. I was also hoping that Greylyn and Kael’s relationship developed a little more than it did. I enjoyed the suspense of it all but thought it a bit slow so I hope we get all the juicy details in the next book. I loved all the characters. Maureen was such a darling and Kelly and Matthew was the most adorable couple ever! I was so worried something bad would happen to them. If you love books about angels with a touch of romance then this is for you.

I received this ARC free in exchange for an honest review.

I'd like to thank Booktasters for giving me this opportunity.

Greylyn is a guardian angel. Kael is a dark guardian. It's another good/bad romance. I like that it isn't driven by romance between the two characters. It just makes their last interaction with each other that much better.

I'm taking a fiction course and I find it interesting how the things we were told not to do, is done. When Greylyn thinks things, some of it is in italics and other times, it isn't. I found that to be confusing because I would get used to italics for thoughts but then it wouldn't happen each time.

I would love to know more about human Greylyn. My guess is Kael and Greylyn were together or something. Especially at the end when it says: "Despite what he'd become, he couldn't let go of her, not completely," and "... as long as it meant being close to her again. His chance, their chance, would come." I'm probably looking too deep into that, but it just feels like they have a history besides fighting each other.

Greylyn is a guardian angel, Kael is a dark guardian angel — it seems fate has put them on opposite sides, but is there more written in their destiny? Greylyn fights to protect her charges, keeping them safe from the darker world. She also fights to control her increasing pull towards Kael. Can opposite sides work together? For hundreds of year he’s been working against her, fighting against her, but through it all they continue to gravitate towards one another. When Greylyn finds herself up against not only a dark guardian but a fallen archangel, she must make a deal with the devil (or something like that) in order to protect a woman and her unborn child. This particular archangel wants her to fulfill a prophecy that she doesn’t understand. If both heaven and hell want this prophecy stopped, what could it mean?

I throughly enjoyed this book. The push and pull between Kael and Greylyn was just wonderful! You might just find yourself wishing that not all dark angels are bad! This book does leave us wondering, but in the very best way! The plot was well constructed and we know just enough about the characters to understand them and continue asking questions. I cannot wait until the next book in the series is out, I need more Kael and Greylyn in my life!

I loved the story. A dark good looking demon stalks a guardian angle through time. What could be better? Greylyn's past is a mystery. Her duties fighting vampires and demons keep her busy, but at a bed and breakfast, Greylyn comes face to face with the one dark demon she just can't get out of her head. Wonderful.

Greylyn and Kael are such wonderful enemies and even better friends, if they could get past the aeons of enmity. A true enemies to lovers plot, but the lovers bit may take a while!
There is more going on than meets the eye, and Greylyn is at the centre of it. Enough to tease but so much more we need to know. The world of Guardian Angels and Dark Guardians is a violent one, and the politics of heaven and hell are as shady as those found on earth.
Jasper is wonderful, cheeky, and sultry and a man of deep emotions. Definitely interested in Greylyn, as much as he hates Kael. Makes it challenging for Greylyn to keep the two apart. I am sure there is more to come!!
Well written paranormal fantasy. Looking forward to the next installment in the series. Such wonderful characters draw you in so you want to know what happens to them next.

“I am a guardian angel. No evil shall pass by me.”

Gwendolyn is a guardian angel and her story starts off with her first assignment. Save a man from the demons that come to claim his soul.
This doesn’t go as smoothly as she anticipated. And instead of taking down the demons herself, someone else saves her.

Kael is a dark guardian. Dark guardians are the exact opposite of the the guardian angels.

Even though I liked the story, it felt a little dragging at times and I think the writing just wasn’t for me. I expected it to have more action and suspension. The main character also asked the same question over 5 times without it ever being addressed. I also didn’t really like how the author always had to mention how nice Kael’s eyes were. It got a little bit annoying at times. BUT I loved the rest of the romance.

I also really liked that the story took place in an inn, I really liked this setting and the inn keeper was a really nice and fun character!
